Vorige week ontving ik ineens een e-mail van de curator van de Tilde Gallery in Palermo over het fotoboek “Imago 4“, met daarin foto’s van Merlin.
Het blijkt dat het fotoboek al is uitgekomen, en ook online al te bekijken is.
Maar hoe zit het met de hardcopies van het fotoboek?

Imago 4 is een publicatie in eigen beheer van Tilde Gallery  die gevestigd is in de Italiaanse stad Palermo.

De e-mail die ik heb gestuurd:
“Dear ***,

Thank you so much for reaching out to me.
As you may have noticed, I’m very busy at this moment with both my
“normal” job as a teacher and also with photoshoots and editing the
photos.
Unfortunately I haven’t received the newsletter you’re referring to,
but this email from you makes me very happy!
I’ve seen the _Imago 4_ online and it is really looking very good: I’m
proud of being published in this beautiful and well curated photobook.
Your words about my photos makes me very happy and humble at the same time. Thank you so much for these very kind and wonderful words!

Do you have an idea when the printed version will be shipped? Perhaps I can give a copy of it to the model and her parents for X-mas. That would be great.

We’ll keep in touch and I do hope I will have some more spare time
coming up the next couple of weeks to see what you and your gallery
may offer to me.

I want to thank you for all your work you’ve done, not only for
myself, but also for the other photographers published in the book.
It’s truly a honor being in such a magnificent publication.

De e-mail waarnaar ik verwijs en die dus vorige week is gestuurd, heb ik hieronder nog een keertje staan.

Al met al een prachtige publicatie die ik graag ook op echt papier in een fotoboek wil zien.
